Sales has been around for as long as there have been people.  The first time there were two people, one had something the other wanted.  So they struck a deal.  Commerce was born & the first sales person had made a sale to the first customer.

Sales can be described as a series of steps through which something of value is exchanged for something else of value.

The Sales Professional has gotten a bad rap by some, but let's face it.  The True Sales Professional is a joy to deal with.  They know their craft.  They know their product or service.  And they know how that product or service will be a plus for the customer.
